Gellmann, the son of a lower noble family, learned
swordsmanship from his father who was a knight.
Gellmann's goal was to become a member of the Royal Guards, who only accept men with great skills and gracefulness. Gellmann was not that talented; he endured hardships through his resolution to be a member of Royal Guards. After devoting more than 10 years to swordsmanship, none of his peers could easily counter his sword. However, Gellmann wasn't only focused on honing his swordsmanship, since joining the Royal Guards required more than just that. He studied hard and learned chivalry. Gellmann was an excellent knight, except that he was too inflexible even before he joined the Royal Guards. When he felt that he was fully prepared, Gellmann applied for the position of royal guard. He passed the trial with pride and is now walking the path of a royal guard, his dream since childhood. |
